Topophilia: A Strong Sense of Place

Topophilia: A Strong Sense of Place is a poetry collection that explores themes of belonging and longing set to the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver Island. Broken into two parts, Sarah first brings her reader on a journey of love and wonder among the lush woods, seashores, and meadows of British Columbia's west coast. In part II, she pauses to ponder her relationships to her closest companions and her own psyche with tender, open ended queries. These poems, infused with rich imagery of the natural world, cannot help but evoke in the reader a strong sense of place.
