Ten volume set, Edition De Luxe. Limited edition of 1000 (one volume is stamped with #321 the others have no number on the limitation page). No publication date stated. All ten volumes are half-bound in maroon leather; raised bands on spine with gilt stamped lettering and decoration. Red, blue and yellow marbled paper covered boards and matching endpapers. Top outer edges of textblock are gilt; other edges are uncut. Edgewear to boards with chipping and small tears to the headcaps of some of the volumes. Some cracking and weakness to bindings. B/W engraved illustrations on frontispieces; Coloured decorative illustrations to title pages (with annotated intact tissue guard between). B/W engraved plates throughout volumes. Textblock of set is generally clean. Individual volume flaws are small stain to top margins of a few pages of one volume, title page signature loose in a second volume and stain to preliminaries of a third.
