Tossed into the foster care system at a young age, Clifton Dodge and Zander Ayers, discovered how cruel the world can be. Eventually, they turn to a life of crime. Thievery and deceit came easy to them and over the years, the crimes they commit are countless.

A simple investigation that required former Detective, now Private investigator, Tyrec Knight, to locate a book turned into much more then he had bargained for. With help from his ex-partner, Detective Nickolas Barnes, they find themselves walking down a path filled with mystery, mayhem and murder.
