Naked Babies

Combining Nick Kelsh's striking black and White images of infants and Anna Quindlen's moving text, "Naked Babies" is an exploration and celebration of the beauty of the human form and character in its most nascent and most perfect state. Kelsh's photographs are non-traditional and multi-racial, frequently focusing on magical-details, such as plump, inquisitive fingers, the swirling cowlick atop a head, or the smooth skin at the nape of the neck. Accompanying these images are five essays from Quindlen in which she draws upon her own experience as a mother of three to provide insightful, humorous, and touching reflections upon the perfection of babies and the rewards of parenthood.
