After ten years as a Director at Aerosystems in Seattle, Teri Harlan accepts an intriguing offer: Deputy VP of Quality at her former company. Looking forward to Southern California and working for her long-time friend, Rich Richmond, she receives shocking news just before her arrival: Rich is hospitalized following a serious car accident.

Left to start on her own, Teri finds the company she once loved is now a mis-managed snake-pit, infested with self-indulged senior executives reveling in massive bonuses. Within her first week, the company president tries to seduce her, and she discovers his executive administrator sleeps with him as part of her job description.
