Cody Coyote: Based on a True Story

Cody Coyote is the heart-warming true story of a coyote pup that gets separated from his mother and is rescued by a truck driver. He eventually gets released back to the wild, but not before Cody has a lot of adventures and learns some important values! The two main characters in this timeless classic are Cody and the kind man (the author) who rescues him. Based on actual events, the tale is told from the coyote's perspective. First-time author Keith A. Williams based his book on actual events from his days as an over-the-road trucker. Every time he told this story, he was told it was a great story and would make a great book. His wife thought it would be a good children's book. The author agreed, not only writing the book with a twist and telling it from the coyote's perspective, but he also did all the illustrations.
