1860s, through its near demise during the urban decay of the late 1960s. Through photographs from the archives of the Canton Preservation Society and many others representing Canton's various ethnic groups, Ronald E. Sterling has brought historic Canton to life. The images in Canton, Ohio, tell the story of well-known residents including Bezaleel Wells, William McKinley, H.H. Timken, and John Dueber.
