Brave Little Sterling

"I said goodbye to my mom, not knowing what else to do. After a few minutes, we arrived at this place called the N.I.C.U." Brave Little Sterling is a short, rhythmic tale about a baby's time spent in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after birth. This whimsical story is told from the perspective of a newborn, Sterling and what he experienced during his NICU stay. From his traumatic birth to his recovery and departure from the NICU, this little rhyme details the roller coaster ride of emotions and moments of despair that a parent faces when their baby is admitted into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
