Sterling Bexley doesn't need a man to make her happy. As a sport photographer, she travels the world on the dime of whatever team she's working for that day, but when she lands her dream job with the Boston Yellow Jackets, things get complicated and so does her relationship status.

Jaiden Thomas is left winger for the BYJ's and everything Sterling hates in a man: sarcastic, rude, a heartbreaker... But he's also tall, sexy and has a wicked tongue. And yes, she unfortunately knows that from experience. To make matters more difficult, her best friend is engaged to one of his best friends, so he's inescapable. Family dinners are awkward as hell when it feels like you're sitting across from the opposite of family.

Avoiding each other seems near impossible, especially when they're forced to spend the entire summer together when the friends decide to go on vacation.
