Russell Books Presents:
Boots, Bikes, & Beers - An Evening With Local Authors
Join us on July 14th for an evening discussing the best hiking and biking trails with local authors John Crouch, John Walls, Theo Dombrowski, and Tim Leadem.
There will be recommendations on where to go when you head out for a hike or bike on Vancouver Island and what to bring with you when you go. Bike demos will be included in the evening to give everyone attending an opportunity to learn about how to fix their own bike while on the trail! Additionally Spinnakers Liquor Merchants will be offering samples of craft beer for everyone to enjoy during the evening.
Tickets are $5.00 and are for sale at Russell books, 19+ only. Ticket price includes two craft beer samples (more samples will be available for purchase).
Event starts at 7:30 p.m.
Welcome to Russell Books!
Canada's Largest Used & New Bookstore
Russell Books first started in Montreal in 1961. It began as a small 300 square foot, one aisle, used bookstore and gradually grew into the biggest used, antiquarian and remainder bookstore in Montreal. In 1991 Reg Russell, founder of Russell Books, helped open a Victoria branch with his daughter Diana and her husband Ron DePol at 734 Fort Street, where it is today. Ron and Diana are now the owners of Russell Books Ltd. while their daughter Andrea, together with her husband Jordan, manage the company. In 2005 we expanded into another space, Books on View - a division of Russell Books, at 702 View Street, (under the Sayward Bulding at the corner of Douglas Street). And their son Chad handles all the Logistics for the two stores and the huge stockpile of books at the DePol Home!..
