We’re excited to host local authors Jack Knox, Briony Penn, and Anny Scoones for an evening of readings, discussion, and hot apple cider to christen the event space in our new store. Light refreshments will be provided, and the authors will be glad to personalize copies of their books. A door prize will be offered.

About the Authors
Jack Knox is a popular columnist at the Times Colonist and one of BC’s greatest humourists. He is the author of Hard Knox, Opportunity Knox, and On the Rocks with Jack Knox.
Briony Penn is an award-winning writer and naturalist known for her tireless devotion to protecting sensitive ecosystems. She has written four books: The Real Thing, A Year on the Wild Side, Stories from the Magic Canoe of Wa’xaid and Following the Good River.
Anny Scoones’ humorous collections of Vancouver Island stories and essays are beloved by readers from Sooke to Sointula. Her books include Home and Away, True Home, Hometown, Last Dance in Shediac, and Island Home.
